Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to internal and external customers, maintaining positive relationships across all touchpoints.
- Enter, verify, and maintain accurate data in careerzynith’s operational database for cargo, mail, and equipment movements.
- Coordinate the loading, unloading, and transfer of freight and supplies between aircraft, ground vehicles, and storage facilities.
- Generate and submit Cargo Build Load Slips (CBLS) electronically or physically to the Operations Specialist as required.
- Inspect freight and cargo for accuracy, report discrepancies, and resolve issues in collaboration with the logistics team.
- Protect customer property, cargo, and mail from weather, theft, damage, or loss by following established handling procedures.
- Operate jetway stairs and other ground support equipment to move items safely between the terminal and aircraft.
- Perform routine interior aircraft cleaning tasks, including upholstery, windows, galleys, and lavatories, according to standard operating procedures.
- Assist with provisioning duties—loading cabin supplies, catering items, and other equipment—while maintaining inventory records.
- Operate and maintain ground support equipment such as belt loaders, push‑back tractors, lift trucks, and de‑icing units.
- Communicate effectively with pilots, dispatchers, freight handlers, and external partners via radio and verbal channels.
- Complete required paperwork and digital entries promptly to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Adapt to varying shift patterns and station assignments, providing support wherever the need arises.
- Participate in ongoing safety training, achieving a minimum 90 % pass rate on the Ramp Specialist certification program.
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, aviation, business administration, or a related field.
